About David Vander Bloomen
David Vander Bloomen is passionate about helping business professionals and organizations unlock their potential through stronger leadership and authentic branding. His upcoming book, Be the Wind: Leading Through Faith, Experience, and Common Sense (releasing Spring 2026), draws on his diverse career and personal journey to inspire leaders to build trust, lead with clarity, and make a lasting impact. He is also set to release a weekday devotional, Working Daily with God: Weekday Reflections for the Business Professional, before Summer 2026.
With a career spanning television media, law enforcement, logistics management, and nearly two decades in marketing and branding, David brings a unique combination of experience and perspective. He has owned multiple businesses, guided organizations in promotional products and branded apparel, and advised leaders on building influence through strategy and storytelling.
David’s professional focus centers on business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Whether speaking from the stage, consulting with clients, or writing, he strives to be a connector and resource for professionals ready to grow.
Currently, David serves as the President and CEO of the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce. He is the creator and host of a weekday podcast, The Working Word, where scripture meets the daily worker. He is also co-host of the Business with Christ Podcast and is deeply engaged in his community as a youth baseball coach, a Board Supervisor for the Town of Center, co-owner of Center Valley Baseball, and co-founder of Pursuit Adventure Group, a soon-to-be nonprofit dedicated to getting kids outdoors.
Born and raised in De Pere, Wisconsin, David earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College and a Law Enforcement certification from Fox Valley Technical College. Today, he resides in Appleton, WI, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family at their “Happy Place” in Dunbar, WI.
