About David Vander Bloomen
David is an author, professional speaker, and branding consultant who helps leaders and organizations unlock their potential through stronger leadership and authentic branding. His upcoming book, Be the Wind: Leading Through Faith, Experience, and Common Sense (releasing Fall 2025), draws on his diverse career path and personal journey to inspire leaders to build trust, lead with clarity, and create lasting impact.
With a background that spans television media, law enforcement, logistics management, and nearly two decades in marketing and branding, David brings a rare combination of experience and perspective. He has owned multiple businesses, guided organizations in promotional products and branded apparel, and advised leaders on how to build influence through strategy and storytelling.
David’s professional passion centers on business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Whether speaking from the stage, consulting with clients, or writing, he strives to be a connector and a resource for those ready to grow.
Currently David is employed as the President and CEO of the De Pere Area Chamber. He is co-host of the Business with Christ Podcast and is active in his community as a youth baseball coach and a Board Supervisor for the Town of Center. He is also the Co-Founder of two new non-profits, Pursuit Adventure Group and Center Valley Baseball.
Born and raised in De Pere, Wisconsin, David earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College and later a Law Enforcement certification from Fox Valley Technical College. Today, he lives in Appleton, WI. In his spare time, he can be found hunting, fishing, and spending time at his family’s “Happy Place” in Dunbar, WI.
