I Found Ed: A Legend at Lambeau and Beyond
As football and other sports games are viewed on the television, most do not pay any attention to the individuals lugging around the massive camera on their shoulder for 3 hours during the game. They also do not think of those people when the weather is horrible, and they continue to execute their jobs.
Ed Patek was one of those warriors, roaming the sidelines of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, home of the legendary and storied Green Bay Packers. He could also be found at the Packers' away games on the sidelines of their opponent's home field. Pictures began getting posted on social media saying, "I found ed!"
An idea was given to create a Facebook page to allow fans of Ed to post pictures of him in his element, thus the I Found Ed Facebook page was born. That page turned into weekly poems about the upcoming game, resulting in fun for the page's followers.
This book is a compilation of those short diddys. They are preserved here for the fun they brought each week to be read for years to come, but also as a tribute to a man that dedicated 20 years of his life to a craft many do not last in.
