About David Vander Bloomen
David Vander Bloomen is passionate about helping business professionals and organizations unlock their potential through stronger leadership and authentic branding, and also spreading the Word of Christ whenever possible. His upcoming book, Be the Wind: Leading Through Faith, Experience, and Common Sense (releasing later in 2026), draws on his diverse career and personal journey to inspire leaders to build trust, lead with clarity, and make a lasting impact. He is also beginning to work on a weekday devotional, Working Daily with God: Weekday Reflections for the Business Professional.
With a career spanning television media, law enforcement, logistics management, and nearly two decades in marketing and branding, David brings a unique combination of experience and perspective. He has owned multiple businesses, guided organizations in promotional products and branded apparel, and advised leaders on building influence through strategy and storytelling.
David’s professional focus centers on business, entrepreneurship, and leadership, often through the lens of faith. Whether speaking from the stage, leading professional teams, or writing, he strives to be a connector and resource for professionals ready to grow.
Currently, David serves as the President and CEO of the De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce. Besides his Chamber role, he is the co-owner of Center Valley Baseball, the owner of Bay Valley Memorial Care, and continues to bring the "hopefully this year" mentality to starting an eventual non-profit he co-founded called Pursuit Adventure Group. He is also the Market President Designate of the Green Bay Chapter of C-Suite for Christ. In his "spare time," David is the creator and host of a weekday podcast, The Working Word, where scripture meets the daily worker. He is deeply engaged in his community as a youth baseball coach and co-leading the OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) Program at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Born and raised in De Pere, Wisconsin, David earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College and a Law Enforcement certification from Fox Valley Technical College. Today, he resides in Appleton, WI, and enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family at their “Happy Place” in Dunbar, WI.
